• The REICs may invest in real estate certificates and securities on property which are issued in consideration of real property loan up to 20% of the value of the portfolio.

  • The REICs may invest in other capital market instruments and reverse repo up to 10% of the value of the portfolio. However, if the cost price of a property or a project bought into the portfolio is being paid through progress payments or in instalments, the cash surplus corresponding to the due payments may be invested in reverse repo, time or demand deposit, shares, government bonds, treasury bills, debentures, promissory notes, mutual funds and similar securities.
  • The amount of investment in shares and type A mutual funds may not exceed 5% of the value of the portfolio.

  • The amount of investment in foreign real estates and capital market instruments based on real estate may not exceed 10% of the value of the portfolio.

  • The ratio of the lands and lots in the portfolio on which no development has been made within one year since the date of purchase to the value of the portfolio may not exceed 10%.
